The Q fund is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization, founded by Chellie Kew in 2000, with the vision of implementing sustainable solutions to eradicate poverty among millions of children left orphaned by the AIDS virus in sub-Saharan Africa.(backgrounder)
Kew was recognized as a Giraffe Hero for her work with African children.
By providing locally-supported, community-based education, today’s African children will continue to become tomorrow’s teachers, doctors, farmers, artists and leaders.

Chimoza Community School in Zambia is the "Q" fund's flagship school .
In July 2005, the "Q" fund purchased an organic banana plantation – a sustainable, environmentally friendly way for the community to earn the money needed to continue to care for their children without reliance on 'charity.'
Your help will allow us to continue our work at Konion village, in the Rift Valley region of Kenya, where the fund is assiting over 2000 students pursue their dreams through the Ngererit Primary and Secondary School Project.
